At this year’s Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2025 San Diego, CA, experts in gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy, and gastrointestinal surgery assembled from the USA and around the world. The event was a hub for innovation, learning, and connection.

For Hobbs Medical, it was also a highly successful opportunity to present our forthcoming, newest product: the CleanCaptureTM Aspiration Catheter, developed in partnership with Cedars-Sinai to address challenges in sampling the microbiome.

Over the course of three days, we welcomed a steady stream of surgeons stopping by our booth, eager to see and discuss how the CleanCaptureTM device will impact their practice.

Overwhelmingly, the response was positive with physicians eager to put the innovative design into use when the device comes to market in Q1 2026.

Our Freeman Pancreatic Stents were another crowd draw. Once in the hands of the physicians, they were amazed at the stent’s exceptional pliability. (“You have to feel it, to appreciate it!”) Doctors were genuinely impressed by how flexible and user-friendly the Freeman Pancreatic Stents felt compared to other options on the market.

DDW 2025 was more than just a tradeshow for Hobbs Medical: it was an opportunity to showcase the impact of partnering with medical leaders to spark the development of innovative, patient-centered designs.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by. We’re energized by your insights and already looking ahead to what’s next!
